Memory Lane...

I participated in Heather's, so now I have to put this on my blog:

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

C'mon now, anything funny, strange, cool, embarrassing, or awful you remember about me??

Las Vegas--June 1999, you, me and Audra. Going to every casino and collecting all their coin cups. Going to the World of Coca-Cola (and Audra getting sick trying all the flavors of Coke). Walking up and down the strip in the blazing heat. Going to that consumer review TV thing and earning $10. I was the only one legal, Audra was the only one with an ID. (And we were supposed to be hiking the Narrows with the BYU 198th Ward--but they were flooded.) I think that was one of my most spontaneous/fun college memories.

My favorite memories would have to be how we are always together for the dinner groups and how much fun we have had just eating and getting to know each other better, but mostly because you and Rob are so much alike it is kinda creepy!

I am always amazed at how much you read. I love looking through your goodreads list!

I just love your family, especially one cute little 5yr old, my sweetie. Wish I could still do preschool! I loved talking to you when you would drop off/pick him up. You are so easy and fun to talk to!

I remember meeting you and your mom together for the first time, and laughing because your mom reminds me SO much of Dennis' mom. When I found out she's from Virginia (which is where my mom-in-law is from) I thought it was hilarious. I think we talked about Virginia for a while, and then you and I realized that I used to work at TNI where Nate works (worked?). Lots of little coincidences!

Lots of family memories come to mind, because I see you at family get-togethers. My most recent memory is of you hobbling on your toe after getting it smashed with your SUPER heavy baking sheet! And then getting a doctor to poke holes in your toe!! AHHHH! Anyway, I also wanted to say how fun it was to see you in St. George. I left kinda quickly and last minute so that I would not have to leave at the crack of dawn when the in-laws wanted to leave....so I missed saying goodbye to you. The wii was fun to play and seeing you and the kids was great. My cousin is getting married this winter so I will be making the trek up your direction...snow playdate for the kids maybe???

I too was so happy when I met you to find out that we shared the same birthday. I had been uncertain of things since I didn't know any of my new roomies. But knowing the next day was both our birthdays, gave me an instant bond with you! I also remember that you would color organize your closet and I have to admit that I think I picked that up from you. I even organize my hubby's closet that way! It must be part of being a Virgo :)
